Custom Firearms Built by Master Gunsmith John Nagel

John Nagel brings more than 35 years of gunsmithing experience, competitive discipline, and precision craftsmanship to JRC Guns. A professional shooter, highly trained machinist, and Master Gunsmith, John has spent decades designing, refining, and building firearms with a focus on dependable performance, precision, and reliability.

Since 2000, John has been formulating and refining Open/Race Glock competition pistols designed for high-level performance. Throughout his career, he has built more than 40 national and world championship-winning pistols and has personally held nine world records in competitive shooting.

John's competitive background began in kart racing, where he earned the title of Former National Champion Kart Racer. He now brings that same drive for excellence to the shooting sports and the development of elite competition firearms.

John also holds Georgia state records for the first deer, first buck, and largest buck harvested with a .30-caliber muzzleloader. His extensive experience as a hunter, shooter, and builder gives him a practical understanding of the performance, reliability, and precision serious shooters expect from their equipment.

In addition to his gunsmithing career, John has worked with various firearms manufacturers as a test shooter and engineering-support private contractor. His machining background includes experience in the firearms industry as well as steam turbine manufacturing, giving him a deep understanding of precision machining, design, tolerances, and quality control.

Today, John applies that same attention to detail across a range of pistol and rifle platforms. Through JRC Guns, he designs high-quality firearm accessories intended to improve performance and help shooters get more from their equipment. Whether he is designing a new accessory, refining a competition platform, or building a custom muzzleloader, John's goal remains the same: to deliver precision-built products that shooters can trust.

While JRC Guns is not currently offering custom Glock builds, our primary focus is on providing premium Glock parts and custom muzzleloader builds. As our company continues to grow, we look forward to expanding our services and hope to offer custom Glock builds in the future.
